Hiraheishi wa Kako wo Yumemiru - Vol. 1 Ch. 2 - Father's Back

Huh wasnt he a grown man and a soldier, why would he cry when was able to make a friend.

@Enceeee being in the body of a child means his brain is not fully developed, even with the memories of his past life

Compared to the first chapter, the translation quality really took a nose dive in chapter two. What a shame.

Which doesn't make sense because, now that I look again, both chapters have the same TL. Maybe the proofreader for chapter 1 was better and managed to salvage it?

Haha, his parents are pretty likable.

Series seems good so far, but I'll have to deduct some points for the mega-generic Magic Swordsman.

Wait, his father is the strongest? Stronger than the Captain of the Royal Knights?! Also, the moment I put my eyes on that wolf I thought: "Otou-san wa... Mou shindeiru"

I figured he would act less like a kid considering what he has been through. The translation isn't too bad. But this is coming from someone who has read a lot of manhua, we all know how bad those translations are.

I remember reading this waaay back when it didn't have many chapters. Hopefully it's still as good as i remember it to be.

@Abyssal14, think about the translations this way, if Chinese people were to read English manga, the translation for them would be bad, the way they speak in manhuas is how Chinese speak, but it's weird for us. We as people who can speak English, find manga's in English fluent and not broken apart, but for Chinese, the way of speaking would be weird. But for Chinese manhuas for them, we would find it weird, but since that is how they normally speak, it sound grammatically correct to them. You can't expect all manga's to be good in English, we all have different ways of speaking. Hopefully this makes sense.

Forgot to say, this is actually a manga, not a manhua or manhwa
