@Trezcast Probably is made of some super rare stuff (hence the MC's reaction upon getting it). This the shallow lady who believes that "commoners" could never possess this rightfully so she either thins A. that the MC stole it, or B. commoners aren't valuable enough to wear nice things, and she's either cheating with a noble or something worse, is being accepted, thus the MC is cutting into the man meat of eligible bachelors for the nobility. Unfortunately, it's C. Was given to her by the King/Emperor who is "slumming" it (course he doesn't view it that way), so in tossing it, she's endangered herself.

Will be interesting if the hairpiece comes off & the boss sees it.

That last interaction was so bonkers that I kind of almost want to see more of this deranged dues-ex-machina noble lady. She would appear to properly belong in some sort of institution, but the absolute lack of any sense or reason behind her chaotic-evil actions is almost sort of charming.
