Comparing the two side by side, it's really interesting to see something so heavily redrawn.
I understand giving the MC a little more personality than before, but stuff like changing the girl's expression on the bottom of page 11 is pretty hard for me to call an upgrade.

His griping at the beginning . . . Oooo, -8 C, horrors! Wotta wimp. That's not a huge deal even here in Vancouver, and anywhere else in Canada we'd laugh ourselves sick. At -8 it's no big deal to take your gloves off for a few minutes to fiddle with your phone, geeze. And the air's fine to take deep breaths of.
