@sedition I'm not sure it's always on the translators. It may be the authors or magazine itself sometimes, denoting mini arcs in the manga or something. See there's even an end of chapter note at the bottom of the last page. Like the author can't fit the whole chapter in one week's magazine so they split it between two releases so they don't have to rush it or make a shorter chapter and cut content.
