Fun Fact: the "ko" part is roughly equivalent to the "apples" part of "two apples", except that it means "small objects", so directly translated into english without the context, it would be "two small objects". Japanese is waaay more context sensitive than english, they often use "they" and "you" to refer to specific people because you are assumed to know the identity of the person addressed, or in this case, the exact nature of the "small objects".
