@RedScaleWyrm Those games that do only do so for one of 2 reasons: 1) They want a pun on "Myth" 2) They are trying to be "different", but are too lazy to come up with a different name for things, so they figure changing letters is simple enough.

Neither of those reasons make sense when translating from Japanese. Especially if the Japanese used the standard Japanese term for mithril.

This could have been interesting if the author made some effort and research, but this 56 year old homeless man could have been replaced with anyone and the story wouldn't have changed much.

Also I assume that the slime is his source of water and has a cleaning effect, Because that elf wouldn't have stood within 5 meters of a guy that smells like an actual hobo

@Cableman Not mention his clothes belong to a dead guy and it is already a wonder how he could wear it considering it came in contact with decaying flesh. It is still white for some reason.
