@Mojo I think its more that authors like this have no idea how much food you need or how often. I mean around here most people don't know shit about nutrition and the internet does not support people understanding such things.
2-3 days would not even lower combat effectiveness by all that much. I fast every so often and 3 days is more like the breaking point where the fasting begins. It takes atleast 24 hours for any actual loss of KJs to be felt.

3 days and the shota talks like its been taught for months which tells me author is just rushing for the ecchi.
If only most isekai would actually follow dungeon meshi in its story telling style if they want dungeon crawling and adventuring in the medieval era.

@iloveaquariums123 Well, on the bright side, I doubt they know to bleed an animal they hunted so as not to spoil the meat. I imagine cutting it in half may effectively do that so the skipped step is not ruining even more of the meat....
