Okay im gonna say it, dont shoot me but--
Shiho is probably the most complicated and realistic character in this story, especially personality-wise.
His behavior, fears, mentality, coping mechanism and "fake persona" directly trace back to his trauma/interpersonal complications as well as being affected by what his personality prior to the "incident" was.
He's a very true representation of a hurt 20-ish y.o. boy and kudus to the author for that
