Honzuki no Gekokujou ~Shisho ni Naru Tame ni wa Shudan wo Erandeiraremasen~ Dai 1-bu 「Hon ga Nai nara Tsukureba Ii!」 - Vol. 1 Ch. 3 - Lifestyle Impro…

Time to sell the shampoo recipe to some merchant, improve their family situation with a fat sack of loot. That would be lifestyle improvement. The shampoo is going to make her feel more comfortable on its own I guess, but she might as well just go ahead and get wealthy off her knowledge. Might even catch the attention of some scholar among the nobility to apprentice under, and thus take a shortcut to books galore.

Granted she could also just get abducted by some typical isekai noble made of fat and greed, and worked to death like a golden egg laying goose for their personal profit. Maybe take it slow, put some feelers out there via the shampoo alone to find the right target audience for the other inevitable inventions (printing press seems like her main priority).

For someone who spent her entire life reading, she seems pretty stupid. Perhaps if she had branched out a bit from fiction and romance novels to learn a few things about practical skills and history she wouldn't be struggling this much in her new life. then again, i guess it's a nice change of pace from typical tensei stories where the reborn person is familiar with even the most obscure and archaic of techniques.

I think it's done pretty well here. Knowing something from books and actually doing it are different things.
In theory I know how a steam engine works, doesn't mean I could build one.

Plus her body and brain are 5 in this world and she's very sickly. Giving her some serious limitations.
Not like your standard knowitall overpowered isekai.

For someone who claims to love books, she sure doesn't know much about books.

And right after her mother tells her about how they have to prepare for winter, instead of using that avocado oil for cooking, heating or light, what this impoverished household needs is shampoo!

for a person who reincarnated, they sure act like a stubborn brat. which is actually a positive since most isekai protagonist unnerve their family in peers with how mentally developed they are.

For all you people calling her a brat consider what you would do and please note that knowing how something roughly works doesn’t mean you can make it for example I play survival games doesn’t mean I know how to survive

Well, she definitely not calm in certain situation. Judging from her past and how her mom tried to get her to live life outside of book, she might be socially awkward as well. Awkward and addicted is such a bad combination.
