Honzuki no Gekokujou ~Shisho ni Naru Tame ni wa Shudan wo Erandeiraremasen~ Dai 1-bu 「Hon ga Nai nara Tsukureba Ii!」 - Vol. 5 Ch. 24.5 - The Power of…

Ok, so this answers some of the questions I had about why they couldn't just get someone to sponsor her cure.

As much as Main was a book freak, she must not have read any fantasy titles if she has no ideas about magic, especially in the more modern works that go to some length to make it more mechanical and explainable in nature, instead of the old "anything just happens" sort of magic. I bet if she had been a chuuni instead, she would be a magician already.

@Kaarme

There are some, but not necessarily a lot of books where if you can't control your magic, it'll kill you. Not necessarily in this way though.

If Lutz don't marry her later, i will be really sad after everything he do to help/save/protect her non-stop, even when he learn she is not the same Mein he knew a bit before.

Thanks for translating this, and the part after too maybe :eek:

@Kaarme pretty sure she tried/tries the isekai fantasy magic stuff, screaming out status open, yelling Fireball, and striking JoJo poses, but none of it worked to give her magic, just made her want to die since she was seen.

If getting rid of the disease was as simple as learning magic, the merchant association granddaughter would probably have learned it already. There are two possibilities I can think of that rule out learning magic as treatment:

1. Magical knowledge is exclusive to the nobility, since merchant guy didn't even mention it as a possibility, he just talked about the treatment costs;
2. We know that there's magic in this world, but from what we've seen, magic manifests in very subtle ways or in magic items. Maybe magical energy is something that can't be directly manipulated by humans;
