Something seems off. Hairstyle in his memory and Selenium's is different and the memory's ear tips are more rounded. Unless story is breaking off from the usual trope even half elves should have a very long life span and shouldn't physically change so much in just a few years.
So it seem the black knight isn't a man but a woman. Explains the slender physique, lack of bumpy muscles and Adam's apple.

@aberdeus You could be right, but I doubt it. Filling in the rest usually means putting in the background, shading, filling in lines with ink or design x not drawing the lead characters. Main itch I have is that the memory doesn't have eyes which would usually be filled in once remembers person in memory. Well could discuss this 6 ways to and twice on Sunday but will just have to wait for either the series to end proving memory is Selenium or a reveal moment proving it's somebody else. That or author/artist answering question about it in an interview.
