Horimiya - Vol. 15 Ch. 110 - Nakamine

OHMYGOSH MY HEART AND MY SHIP!!!!! I'M SO INTO YUKI/TORU MORE THAN THE MAIN CHARACTER SHIP

THANK YOU FOR THE TRANSLATION!❤️

I’m having weird bugs, the site was showing a mix of this chapter and chapter 109 with some parts missing.

You know a manga is being milked to death when the author starts introducing new characters for more tried-and-true misunderstandings after 100+ chapters.

Since the main couple had already finished their story, I just hope for more ToruxYuki development. Idk if it even possible to see tho.

still waiting 108 thks for ur work(because that's how the autor did and i respect that)

Finished their story? They barely toed the starting line. I'm still following with the sliver of hope that HERO-sensei will pick up the main story from the proposal.

@JKTV Student-teacher relationship is a taboo in Asian society. As an Asian, I am disgusted by it. Don't understand why you like that.

@moonfaerie24 They are young and inexperience. Remember that they are just teenagers so they are bound to make a lot of mistakes. Sakura herself doesn't mind so why should you?

@Kwijo It is finished. They already promised to get married, what more do you want? HERO-sensei won't go back to what you hope. Go and check the web-version Horimiya, HERO-sensei draws hundreds of chapters of side stories like this.

@avatarivn If you read a lot of slice-of-life like me, you will see that new characters appear late in the series all the time. It is not milking. It is normal in these type of manga.

@miyako19 I agreed. Student-teacher seems nice and lovely but in Asian (or at least: China, Korea, Japanese and Vietnam) is taboo. It always bring bad rumours, also not always happy ending, even sometimes the "student" can easily submit suicided because Heartbroken and bad rumours (well, the main reason for broken is always because of bad rumours, usually teacher side cant bear the hardness so they broke up, then the student will suicide)

@miyako19

First of all. Relax it’s a manga.
Second of all I was stating that I’d rather have that then her with Tooru. As in I REALLY don’t like her with Tooru that I’d prefer with someone we barley know even a terrible taboo. So basically just in case my point didn’t come across
I just don’t like her with tooru lol

@miyako19 -- Promising to get married is precisely what I was referring to as barely toeing the starting line. Life/romance doesn't end at a proposal. I don't buy for a minute that there isn't anything to write about once a couple becomes a couple. What more do I want? How about the story of the couple as they graduate, attend university, enter the working world, get married, start a family, navigate in-laws, juggling adult friendships, and so on? In short, I'd love to read about their romance and lives together, not just how it started.

I get that I'm foolish in hoping for a shounen manga to morph into something for a more mature audience, but a person can dream. I'm not holding my breath. Just wishing.

@Kwijo They were two completely unlike people who gradually got closer together as friends, bit by bit they fell in love, started dating, their personalities changed over time, they kissed, actually had on screen sex, got even closer with spending time with their families, Miyamura proposed and she accepted. The story is over. We got way more than 99% of rom-coms do.

@Luhood The manga is based on a webcomic which already ended, the final chapters were about the proposal, everything after that were released as side chapters after the comic had already ended. You see, if Horimiya actually gets back on the main plot, it ends immediately. So I'm happy with this.
