Wow, all the guys are jerks! 
That guy really calls her a slave, tries to coerce her into sex, and hits her in the damn face?? While the other guy arranges to videotape a gangrape of her? I wanna know the secrets, but those two are so beyond not cool. Dropping, rooting for oni-chan, and hoping he doesn't end up a total creep as well. 
And her mom who just wants a life free of trouble, is it really worth encouraging the mistreatment of your daughter??

hot gimmick, or hot garbage, as i like to say....
i'd strongly caution against reading this unless you're in for a trashy read. there's a movie i believe on netflix? made based on this series, god knows why but it romanticizes the extremely unhealthy relationships like when
and this book is much the same. none of the love interests are really good options for her except for 1? but well... he's in an unlucky situation and it's still a questionable relationship.
