A random character just dropped a casually sexist remark, which seems like a joke put in by the author to show that dude isn't trustworthy, and people lose their mind. Yeah, sexism exists everywhere, newsflash, captain obvious. There's a difference between saying "Japan has sexist people" and "The entirety of Japan is sexist", you know? That's like saying the "American police hate black people" and you have to be an ultimate leftist idiot to believe that. What's worse is that some people have to desperately stroke their ego by saying "See!? Japan = bad!" over a very unimportant piece of dialogue.
