Houkago Teibou Nisshi - Vol. 3 Ch. 17 - Life Preservation

can't you like refill the spent co2 cans, looks expensive if you buy new ones

@dagger most of the time shops do you a discount if yo give them used cans, so they would refill and sell them, there is nothing sophisticated or unsafe about that. also 2k yen for one! way overpriced!

Poor hina, blackmailed into joining a shady club then one mistaken from following her peer and she is extorted to buy chemicals.

oono-senpai <3

p.s., what was she trying to say on pg 3 with "hamm-"?

I too thought that the price tag was way too high, since you can buy CO2 cartridges for half a buck each, but you have also to consider this ones undergoes a much, much stricter control and process of certification. If the cartridge you use in your seltz misfire or is empty, you just pop a new one in, if the one in the life vest is damaged, someone might die...

@Weezer As @sssr said I suspect she was going to say "hammer", as in "she floats like a hammer".

Also, Sayaka-sensei showing off her actual teacher side for once!

But how much is all this in Norwegian Krone?

Oono-senpai is going to need some serious hugs after this to calm down.

Okay, it took me some time to figure out what you guys are talking about.

@Beregorn @Maleckite You guys seem to be thinking of this type of cartridge:

https://www.amazon.com/Keg-Smiths-Gram-C02-Cartridge/dp/B07L5VGJ23/ref=sr_1_17_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=co2+cartridge&qid=1596811227&sr=8-17-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUFLN0dIUDVQREJSMEsmZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTA1NjMxNDAyUThVMUs5N1pLR1VOJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTAxMjk1NTAyMkY3RE03OUFaTUJPJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfbXRmJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==

Well, Sensei is talking about THIS kind of cartridge:

https://www.amazon.com/Cartridge-Inflatable-Lifejacket-Lifesaving-Replacement/dp/B01H52EYI4/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=pfd+cartridge&qid=1596811321&sr=8-5

Was not expecting PFD CO2 cartridges to be so pricey wow. And with JP conversion rates they're actually on the cheaper side. I wonder if it's possible to create reusable cartridges. Of course manufacturers probably don't want to make one, but it'd be cool to DIY it.
