@thegentelman I believe the the red dou’s arrival chapters are set before the start, about how red dou met the other demons and such.

@kirin-kun I went back a few chapter to see is it could be a dream but it only cuts of right before a fight so it’s hard to believe it’s a dream, plus you say it doesn’t make sense, but it shows what red dou was doing before he was in the city and about how he found the other demons he used to work with, so I really do think this is just set before the start to explain stuff.

@Kendor Just before the plot went to Red Dou's arrival (looks like a Flashback) both him and Wang Xiaoxiao were against the guy with a strawhat that trapped them in an illusion. (chapter 93).

They are just sitting, slowly sinking into oblivion.

In chapter 98, Xiaoxiao feels something is off in her own behavior with Mai Dong (chapter 98 page 9). She's bullying her, but it's not how she behaves with her in "reality".

Lots of thing in this arc are inconsistent with the beginning of the story.

I think they are being manipulated in some dream world to get rid of them, so the guy doesn't have to kill them himself.

@kirin-kun Yeh I had the look at the chapter you said and it does look like what you said is right, But I also think this is a way for the author to kinda give some backstory to the characters as well, since before it was one plot point to another. This manga doesn’t really explain how things transition all that well. Thx
