Let me say this. His concerns are legitimate. However, it is undeniable that being rich does help you. It does literally mold you. If you are struggling to support yourself and your family, as the MC is doing, then you don't care as much about your sense of identity. Yes, a poor person can have an identity crisis. You know what else they can have? A money crisis. A living crisis.

That's why I see him with a bit less sympathy.
