Uh. Wow. I just came from Kainushi Juujin to Pet Joshikousei which has a similar setting, but is cute and fluffy, despite the mentions of eating humans as well.

I'll gleefully read stuff like this that mercilessly turns the modern human/domesticated-animal paradigm on it's head when I'm in the right mood for it, but at the end of the day I'll still eat meat ~w~; Not sure what that says about me.

It's good to keep some humility about how ethically tangled our food-chain issues are, though, I suppose, if nothing else.
