@MagnaDrake I think the pattern is the same as the one Akechi once gave Ieyasu.

For Ieyasu here, it's probably a symbol for their will to make a just world.
For the people that accept it, it's a symbol for their allegiance in the coming war.
 
Only this author could have come up with such a zany and flamboyant send-off, its the truest symbol of the manga's title.
PS: Kinda surprised seeing Urakusai step in to take a pair of the Akechi CollectionTM, I thought he'd learnt his lesson and wished to be free from politics and intrigue. But now it seems he only wished to take cover from Hideyoshi and O-Chacha's machinations...
