yo I really like this explanation, it does tie a lot of plot points together quite nicely (zombies retaining sentience, connected minds, the role of Hiromi, Oda's sibling, etc.). On the other hand, I'm not so sure about the incest; that kinda felt unnecessary and detracts from the whole "the NEETs were rapists" thing. Also not appreciating how pretty much everyone insists on misgendering an explicitly trans character, hope that changes.
