So lets say a group has no upload restriction, does that mean anyone can upload using the group's name to upload or only the members?

Huh, the post above is slighty confusing me. But anyway, that's exactly what upload restriction is. No upload restriction means anyone is allowed to use the group's name as a source when uploading a chapter.
@Kamikoto No. Thats NOT what it means. It means that ANYBODY who has a copy of XXX chapter, that was released by YYYY group can upload that CHAPTER and mark it as that groups release.
@blackyawgdom Technically:
No upload restriction = anyone, yes, ANYONE can upload whatever releases they want under this group's name. Spammers/Scammers always make use of this to upload fake chapters.
What you said is more like "courtesy", as in people shouldn't abuse the non-restriction and upload random things under a random group. If a group is inactive/disbanded, for example, then you can actually upload their releases under the group's name. Forgot to add, if a group is active, but do not allow their releases on MD, then even if you have chapters by that group, you still can't upload them here.
@Yatsuki 3.3 covers group uploading. Basically, upload to "Unknown" if you don't know which group is responsible, "no group" if they don't want to make a group, or create a new group if they aren't already in the database. I'd report anything else because it was uploaded incorrectly.
