I really hate that the author is acting like the kid is in the wrong for not being more understanding of his father and the monster cats.

Bullshit, he left him a substantial debt, sounded like a shitty husband and father and then the cats have the gall to be mad at the kid for feeling abandoned and hopeless!? What the ever loving hell? Look I don't hate the bare bones premise but I consider the level of trouble that man caused his child and wife unforgivable.

I'm furious he even did such a thing as buying a mansion for his friends/pets while leaving his own family out to goddamn dry!

Why the f do authors keep blaming the MCs for everyone else's stupidity. His dad was a deadbeat douchebag, how the hell could he feel anything but resentment and hate towards him, and then you do this ugly ass guilt trip stuff. So damn bad.

i agree, i don't blame the cats for feeling loss and abandoned too but the father isn't really forgiveable just judging by this first chapter LOL

but yeah i don't think the cats really have the rights to just go "hey you're insulting our beloved human!!" it just feels like seeing a wife confronting a mistress and then the mistress defends the cheating husband with all her might without even trying to understand the wife
