@Owyn - she must have got a lot of exp from all the vampires they've slain.
But mostly it's about her being too weak to be affected by the evil barrier, while the vampire was too busy maintaining the barrier and fighting off the MC.

The reason Shia could move is because the anti-barrier inverts the favor of the gods. The more the gods love you, the worse the effects of the anti-barrier will be. This is why Shia could move. Also, she barely fended off the vampire's attacks. The vampire was also more focused on Luck anyway.
