@Mizumachi it's been a while since I read this manga so I don't have a response in context of this particular story but based on my experience from other manga's and life in general, I believe that hiding one's identity attracts more trouble and hence more stress. As they say to hide one lie you need to make more lies and it becomes complicated with time. Though I respect your opinions but for me it's just foolish.

It is not like he actively tries to go out of his way to hide it from his loved ones/friends. In time, his Identity will probably be revealed. I do understand not wanting to attract attention and revealing himself will attract attention. I do want his Identity to be revealed, but for now, it is fine that he wants it this way.
I understand your worry(or at least I think I do?), but I believe his Identity being concealed will be overcomplicated like that. Hopefully, I am right about that.
