Edit: Not to mention plot and character design grabs from other series because the only thing "original" was the beginning that felt like a one shot. MC design is always generic and copy/pasted in these fantasy stories but now it seems like that is happening with the side characters as well. [Which normally is where the original deisgns are]

I've read Usagi Drop, first half was genuine child-rearing story of single parent. Second half she was already adult.
