I was kinda hoping this story wasn't going the direction of your typical isekai fantasy plot

It's not even an isekai! You don't need to go through the "OP new adventurer" trope at all!

This is panning out to be a lot less interesting than the premise suggested

This just got really annoying and subpar really fast.
First, Praising a scout for being excellent because she doesn't doubt her tracking then immediately pointing out how she's doing it all wrong.
Second, The constant: "Of course I could clean them up easily" Gets annoying REALLY fast.
Third, Saying you won't hand them the answers then pretty much doing just that right before they could think about it themselves.
