I love the fact that he doesn't try too hard to pretend to be weak and keep his identity a secret at all cost like most of cliche lazy-life manga out there.
@traveling_chef Actually, based on the translated part of the web novel, the two show up again as minor characters here and there, which makes this change more baffling. I wonder if this was something they also changed for the light novel version, or if this is a manga exclusive change.
@legaecy I mean its already pretty cliche. It was only unique with the prologue then went cliche af from there. Him pretending to be weak a bit more would be like pissing in a sea of piss cliche.
A sea that I seem to enjoy drowning myself in.... OTL
@traveling_chef What an impatient reader. This is still only the third chapter and still only the beginning of the first arc. What if the said 'reason of why the author change them' happen in (for example) the fifth arc? Will you grumble 'useless useless' endlessly throughout all of that?
If yes, then you're a very dedicated person to read a series just to prove that the author did something useless.
@RetahSretah actually this was going to be my last post about the subject, now that you have said something I'm going to make sure to point it out on every chapter end.
I actually really enjoy this manga, I'm on chapter 192 of the novel and it's still got some good story going, that being said these two characters are hardly mentioned and all those illustrations showing some future stuff doesn't show off these two in any way, leading me to believe they will go the same way as their novel counterparts.
