I Belong to House Castiello - Ch. 18

Well it kinda always weirdly shined through that she was older. Hardly any peasant child would request a teacher for reading out of the blue, since they would not know the importance of being able to read (especially someone who spent half her childhood in a box). There were also other instances where her behaviour and thoughtprocess seemed to be those of an older person.

Well and then there's that tree scene

Basically a house made of gold.
Gotta love how friverlessly he spends his money/resources

Also, amazing progress! She finally realized how childish she's become!

@daime17 yeah but it does make sense considering they're just memories and not something her still-developing body has experienced. Which funny enough is why she's so likeable, it's adorable to watch her trying her best at being more mature and learned.

I just binged this whole series so far and quite enjoyed it. It's endearing, much more so than I expected after the first chapter. Lovely stuff.

One thing, however: I don't really understand the point of making her the reincarnation of someone from another world. I feel like Estelle's character could have been written almost identically with that element cut from the story. It could still prove more relevant later on, I guess, but so far it doesn't seem to me to add much of real substance to the series.

(And any suggestions that a peasant child wouldn't be interested in reading or learning vastly underestimates children's natural curiosity. The most desperately poor children in the world still show an interest in learning when given half a chance.)

No updates on MD but on the scans site atm they are at ch.27
I guess they are indirectly saying "Read it from us!"😉

the library is beautiful. and gosh i really love estelle. she's just so adorableeeeee

*Random flashbacks of a cute stuffed rabbit beating a knight to a bloody pulp*
Huh.....kinda weird where the mind wanders~

11 years old shouldn't carry a stuffed toy everywhere if she doesn't want to be treated like a little child.

@MrTrickyfingers Probably so low grade shards that they would be too cheap as merchandise for someone of the duke's calibre. There's also inherent worth in selling only expensive items if possible. Just look at Apple.

*Flash back to library horror game* now I just remembered why I ask my mime to get rid of my stuffed bunny’s
