Then the only people around her closer to her age are servants or maybe other schoolchildren. But with a sister she can maybe be herself? Idk, 2 weeks is a long time and it seems like the little sister feels lonely despite the love she receives from her parents.

Still don't like the guy, seriously. Ok, so he did act like a decent human being 2 times: the curtain's time and now. But really that is just the bare minimum. And I do agree with other people that commented here: he's growing and do deserve another chance. But not with Neveah, he had 10 years for that.

Seriously, Wistrash is getting praise for not defaming someone? "Oh look, he doesn't go out of his way to slander her! How meritorious!" Plus, the plan is insane. Eustace might be safe just spreading rumors, but him confirming them publicly would put him on very dangerous ground. It would be a grave insult to both monarchs when it is proven false, and he'd have no way to offer any kind of evidence for why he believes it either. They weren't ever married, just engaged, so it's not like he can point at the lack of children as evidence. So what is he going to do when someone asks the very reasonable question "how do you know she's infertile?" You'd expect a doctor to have reported it, so then he'd have to produce the doctor. So he either has to keep building up on his lies, digging a deeper hole for himself with each lie, possibly breaking multiple laws, or come clean that he was jealous. It's a dumb lie that could ruin his life, and it wouldn't benefit him in any way. Not going along with the plan isn't evidence of being a decent person, it's having a functioning survival instinct.

I don't really know why the manhua didn't explain it since it literraly at chapter 2 of the novel when the story introduce Neveah but here we go.

Neveah mum give somes drink to the young marquis and had sex with him while he was drunk. When she was sure to be pregnent she threaten him to marry her to maintain his "noble and clear" status. The marquis was a integre man so he agree. He name his girl Neveah, the opposite oh Heaven since he feel she took his life from him. He only provide the basic to her to be seen as a "good father" from outsider and that all.

Rubiel Story

Rubiel is from a mistress but a women with a better origin than the marquess. Since the marquiss care about his reputation he can't divorce his wife and she is mean to rubiel because she is jalous. Rubiel is loved by her father but he wasn't all day at home and she still need the "parental autorisation" to do something. So she play with her maids and that all, she never really have the right to go out or invite other children. That why she quicly became attached to her sister. She is the only "other person" she can meet in her home. The story don't really explain where is her real mother or what is her place in this family.

Since the ball story, her family business whent down, business partner cut ties with her dad one after another. That because of ML who give some order because she harrassed MC but she just can't think her actual financial problem is link to her behavior with Neveah.

Then she proposed this plan and Valor think she must be more or less spy by the emperor.
