@neelio
I'm not the one doing it, soooo, someone else will do it I think
@feha
We did not post a fake chapter, we labelled it as 5.1, we just forgot to put "Serialization Announcement". This is the author's additional celebration work for winning the Silver Prize.
Now I'm stating my own opinion, anyone who wants to do chapter 5 is beyond my control and I won't stop them. I'm acting on my own principles, everyone is to each their own.
@meidunk if you refer to the prior chapters comments, what I remember (of the single page of comments I skimmed) there were people complaining they posted a fake chapter (labeled as ch5, but was nothing but a notice of dropping the tl (why not labeled as "tl announcement", or similar, instead?)), not that they decided to drop it. So regarding where they are now? They are probably as confused as me, as to why there are two ch5 now, but only one is actually a ch?
@slime_sleeper I don't really think being entitled and complaining that someone drops something is reasonable (unless its obvious they do it to troll ppl, ie. repeatedly only translates 1 chapter), so I think you should not care about people being mad about something like that. Even if you did not have a an actual reason (which you do), you have no obligation to tl on others command.
The only thing that I find problematic was the confusion (which is why I ended up assuming you faked a chapter). Caused by the label, combined with the wording of your note (I remember reading the note in 5.1 as "you thought it was chapter 5, but it was me Dio-da, bait-n-switching you because I am mad at someone! Oh, and I am dropping it to!").
But if I am reading you correctly, that was just an unfortunate combination brought into place by not thinking much about the label, resulting in an unintentional bait-n-switch alongside the note. In other words, an accident resulting in a misunderstanding.
@feha
I was mentally exhausted and tired, so I forgot about my phrasing of the situation and just put it into the TL note without thinking too much that time.
