But apparently he's pretty faithful to both of them, not sure how that works, but that's what someone who read the LN raws said. Damn, I just noticed the cover, pretty much gives it away.

Could someone familiar with Chinese explain what's going on with the names? The protagonist is called both Lin Xiao and Ye Lin, and the blue haired girl is called like three different names. I'm guessing Ye is a title (analogous to -kun in Japanese?), but what's with the girl's names? I tried looking it up but because the translation loses the tone markers I wasn't able to find anything.

I wonder if the same level of racism will be found here LOL. I mean he's a 14 y/o kid in the web novel so I get it, and it seems to be a bit exaggerated for comedic effect. Pushes the usual preconceptions to a strange place.

Side note, I always pictured them with more normal features considering they lived in China. The usual shounen hair colors and MC looking like your typical mob villain is kind of off-putting.

Huh. Never expected to see this get an adaption. Nor for it to introduce Mi Er so quickly. I kinda wanted to see some of the shenanigans that Ye Lin and Xiao Qin got into before she came into the story. Also, I kinda hated That they changed the 'Ye Lin has short legs' bit from the WN, but if it gets rid of his constant internal bitching about it, it's a good trade-off.
