If you enjoy compelling romance, realistic + likable characters, and all the other usual charms of a josei romance, GO READ SOMETHING ELSE. This comic is literal, objective garbage. Not worth the pixels used to display it. Don't be fooled by some of the 13 year olds in the comments. The ML isn't some dreamy, alpha type. He's disgusting. It's wince-inducing to read. A handsome character design can only get you so far. Manipulation, sadism (not in a sexy way), and an irksome lack of consent. All the characters are fucking stupid. It's so poorly written. Anyway, go read Accomplishments of the Duke's Daughter
I don't understand how this is considered rape when she was the one to go there to lose her virginity and she accomplished it but didn't know that the guy she slept with is the prince. Wouldn't rape means that he (the prince) forced her to have sex without her consent? But she wasn't forced to have sex. She intended to lose her virginity so she can't marry the prince.
As for her not being able to escape from marrying the prince, I'd say that the prince is forcing her to marry him not rape.

This is considered rape. Sure, they did have the consent of doing it that night but not the consent of being with each other f.o.r.e.v.e.r. Think of it as if you've promised to use a condom before having sex but then blasted all of your seedlings into her so that she'll not be able to escape. Disgusting, right?

To all who want to condemn the prince for his forcefull behavior... there is only one recommendation: Read the novel!
Manga could not fully convey all the backround reasons and thoughts of the protagonists. So even though he acted forcefully (and he had really good reasons to do so) she enjoyed it immensely and in full capacity. It was not rape.

When I see something downrated by people seeking a validation of their morals in a fictionnal story set in 17th century-ish setting, I cant help clicking on the 10.
There was no rape involved, this is even clearer than in most smut mangas.
Concerning the fact that she was "trapped" in a marriage, well she was already engaged to him to begin with. From the society viewpoint she was in the wrong for trying to trick her fiance.

Dude, this manga categorized as JOSEI. josei manga basically is a shoujo with some smut. Also this manga is adaptation from spicy smut josei LN with the same title (please read the LN for moooooorre intense experience). So please don't judges harshly just because not your thing....
Just saying that this isn't Medieval times like you guys are saying. This isn't even Historical Fiction. This. Is. Fantasy. And the fact that the author thought of this is freaking nuts. In real life that's called manipulation and an abusive relationship. This guy is freakin crazy! Crazy! Crazy!!!! I'm trying to just find out if in any sort of way, if this guy can possibly redeem himself. Though the chances are low.
It' s obviously manipulative and wrong. In no way would this be acceptable in real life. Regardless if the marriage was prearranged or not, "marking" the girl and entrapping her through impregnation or marriage is an abuse of power and similar to enslaving a woman. Worst of all is how it's under the guise of "true love." The idea that if you're in love with someone, it's acceptable or even encouraged to do whatever you can to "get the girl," despite her obvious protests, makes for a pretty messed up world view.
But god damn does that get me wet. Personally, as long as you aren't thrown aside like a used cumrag, there's nothing hotter than a hot guy literally marking you as his through whatever means necessary. It's a pretty hot fantasy, even if it is problematic. But as long as it doesn't induce overly aggressive behaviors, like impregnating someone against her will, it's fine to enjoy the fantasy. You don't need to read it if it doesn't fit your tastes. It is pretty niche afterall.
