@UPR They already know about them, technically. Right out of the gate they were told the common areas have cameras monitoring them. Whether or not they remembered is a different issue, which we'll find out when one of them inevitably gets accused of breaking the terms of the dormitory based on something misleadingly recorded. We're still not really clear on who is monitoring those cameras either but I am certain it will inevitably tie into the whole dorm being rented out to closet livestreamers angle- because that part is just far too much of a stretch to be just a coincidence.
