@jslblaze vtubers in youtube don't show their faces in public (except for 22/7) and also ones who do instrumental/vocal covers, they usually wear face masks. Idk maybe livestreaming is prohibited in japan when your still in highschool.
@Nakanowatari It's normally the opposite, Japanese construction tends to be very poorly soundproofed, especially in apartments. That they normally cannot hear each other's livestream shenanigans, especially when one is singing and another is being an overly dramatic hardcore chuuni, would imply they've either: all done extra soundproofing themselves; or the building was already specially constructed to be better insulated and these kids were all deliberately gathered in this place for a yet to be disclosed purpose. The latter presently seems more likely considering we also know the common areas of the house are lined with cameras, being monitored by a yet to be known party.
@jslblaze No one likes getting pestered by fans in real life. Especially if they work at your job or go to your school. Virtual Personas are a thing in Japan as well, and they stream without revealing their identity for the sake of privacy. Kizuna Ai is a perfect example of this.
What are the words for "dentist" and "livestream"? It is the second times the MC covers up by saying he went to the dentist after almost saying he livestreamed.
