It also seems like the manga is heading in a better direction. The female lead is also getting less annoying and more charismatic, which is good.

I love relatable this is. Not the edgy-deppressed-traumatic relatable but the little retrospective stuff like walking on the wrong direction but you continue on walking, or thinking your gonna lose after hearing your rival.
