@jqnjne yes, he picked him up in the war. they are not biologically related. but to the outside world, he is his illegitimate son. it’s a farce to protect Abel. that’s why he’s speaking as if Abel is actually his son to Aisha, bc she’s not supposed to know that they’re not actually related.

Can anyone give a clear synopsis of what the ML believes the relationship between him, MC, and Abel is? I went through the dialogue in this chapter a few times and I took it a different way each time. Does he realize she was only there for Abel? If so, why is he making a big deal about Abel being the heir even if she had a son? What about Stanley Forlaif? He suddenly understood something about the Stan situation but it is not clear what.
