@Xaelath Chinese ones are called manhua and, yes, they are often trash. Not sure why they wrote so poorly so often..... characters acting horribly and unrealistically with no consequences and female characters often acting with no sense of self worth or pride, oof.

It makes me wonder does Chinese censorship were so bad that they didn't experience or had read anything that is decent?

Seriously with tons of media I am sure one can at least learn something about the writing.

So far for Chinese Manhwa my experience have been 90% terrible. It's not even "bad or mediocre", it's just plain garbage

@Xaelath No idea,tbh...could be a cultural thing. I know that's why sometimes when a MTL is done of a manhua it's confusing because of cultural/language differences not coming through clearly, but that doesn't excuse characters acting COMPLETELY unbelievable or suffering no consequences or so... it also astounds me the government of china allows it because it makes their government look bad. It looks like it allows rape, torture, murder, etc and they get away with it just cause they are rich and powerful. I know, to an extent, that happens in all nations, but not THIS level.
