They would immediately call the police to seize Sayu and ship her back to her parents, even if the parents later ended up murdering her. A real politician could turn the death into a political victory and the mother would be able to drag Yoshida in to shift all the blame.

but what I mean by that is maybe Asami could give a better mental support to Sayu than Yoshida

If Asami tried to replace Yoshida there, it would mean having Sayu, a runaway that could be reported to the officials at any moment, in Asami's home, which happens to be the home of her troublesome parents as well.

So, no, I wasn't trying to be sarcastically hostile, I was trying to point out the giant flaw in having Asami replace Yoshida. She can be her emotional support and ally, more so than Yoshida because there shouldn't be any weird tension between them, but she still can't offer Sayu the material safety Yoshida can.
