@Judah It's not so disturbing to me. Those comments come from juvenile easy to influence people that spend too much time reading japanese romcom.
If Japanese media didn't make such a big deal out of very specific life experiences like virginity, people wouldn't react like they do.
But there's no way around this problem because all manga is going to be read by these kind of readers.
In hentai, the NTR tag worked well to shoo away the people that shouldn't be there reading that stuff.
We should have a similar tag for manga like this one. "Rated Normie" or something.
