The (well known) problem of writing a character that's good at everything is that, if you yourself are not good at everything, the character will just seem poor and everyone around them appears to be easily impressed dullards.
It'd be fine if the masterpieces weren't shown to the reader, but... well, let's just say that painting mostly reminds me of Ecce Mono.
