Maybe the execution wasnt the best but this chapter made me get the idea of what the author was going for and I liked it.

You know, it's a good think the male lead is so trusting of her. A more skeptical person in his place might have wondered if she wasn't twisting the story to make herself look like the victim, and then blaming herself to gain sympathy. And if they called her out on it, that would have just served to further compound her trauma
