I’m sorry this wasn’t even 100% Ripley’s fault in the first place? Like of course she came up with a stupid plan but the Duke’s the one who offered to be the fake lover. Why he gotta bring it too far and dig her insecurities further? Ripley’s already all anxious that she wasn’t supposed to be his fated partner and now this? I hope the Duke learnt all of this later and understand why she did it in the first place (so that Ripley can happily be with the Duke) so that he can drown in his regrets.

Honestly I’m starting to hate the Duke. He’s acting very immature. If I was Ripley, I’d just cut ties with him because this childish love ain’t worth it.
