Walking barefoot in the middle of a forest at night is the best way to injure your feet and immediately fall between protruding roots, sharp stones and thorny brambles. Also taking into account that when running the forefoot is mainly supported while the heel remains raised, especially for a woman who is used to walking every day in heels it is much safer to escape with heel shoes than without.
