Chapter 21 is beautiful retribution. What an absolute buffoon, glad you lost your man. Cant wait to read her suffering for like 30 chapters before she gets him back.

Chapter 21 is cruel! Like I knew it wouldn't be plain sailing, but that's such a harsh cliffhanger
Tbf I dont blame him for being that angry. He is very forceful but she played with his heart too. I get that she has trauma but as the duke said, she didnt do anything wrong in her past and she was also wrong but this doesnt mean she could play with the duke's emotion.
One thing that is criminal tho is that cliffhanger

Yea Ripley gotta learn her lessons (again). So foolish, and I hate how she broke Zeronis' heart as if it was easy for him to trust someone, and here she goes in her la la land, broke that poor man's heart after he tasted a little bit of happiness.
She had it coming~ she had it coming~ she only had herself to blame

Edit: Oookay, he was a tiny bit touchy feely and loony there for comfort. I’m glad to see her cry and mature a little though. These past few episodes have been like watching a four year old go about their day with no consequences at all.
I wonder if he’s pressuring to get with the real fl, or he’s threatening her friend, or if she just exposed Ridley to everyone. I hope it isn’t that because we just had this confrontation and the dramatic tension of the story will flatline again if it bursts all its fireworks at once.
For this relationship to work, the duke really needs to stop pressuring what was a clearly intoxicated woman for doing something she did under the influence, and Ripley needs to get out of her own head enough to empathize with and consider the feelings she’s bringing upon the people around her.

Nah, she didn't deserve it. He deserved it. She was being very vocal that she wanted nothing to do with him, and he ignored it all, doing as he liked. It was because of his actions that she had to go so far, and even that didn't work. He's really unlikable to me.
