Asian parents are supposedly scary or have some kind of indoctrination over their children. Where I'm from, even when the children become full fledged adults who don't need any kind of support from their parents, they readily bend towards their will doing things they'd otherwise hate doing. Like FFS they're even able to pull them off from their daily lives (living overseas) just by a few threats. How the hell can you feel intimidated living 5 continents away?
For two, I'm actually surprised. I thought Seiji would walk out thinking he's inadequate while this new @$$hole might do the usual ikemen cameo of 'but I fell in love at first sight with you' to 'you don't need to give an answer now, I'm waiting forever'. I wonder how it went in the LN.
