@arthdaw For some reason, Charm/Mind Control, while clearly the "superior status effect" have done less overall harm to me compared to Confusion.

Of the games I know of, charm/mind control is certainly dangerous but iirc some can be cancelled by hitting them. Also you have plenty of "time" (since its turn based) to "cure". Some games where Charm doesn't exist (or shares the effect with and uses the name Confusion), are usually action rpgs. I absolutely loathe the many times I get near total party wiped ONE SECOND after someone gets hit with confusion.

Biggest culprit so far is Arche from Fortune Summoners.

So I usually stock up more on anti confusion/charm builds as opposed to sleep or mute. I will mostly walk the others off if its possible.
