You have to lift it up and bunch it in front of you, or it will touch the toilet. It's sometimes a pain with long skirts, but it's actually pretty fast with shorter ones. It's also safer with the skirt being on your lap and held in place with once hand when you get up to wipe, since pants can touch the toilet or the floor when you move around.
