I Was Dismissed from the Hero’s Party Because They Don't Need My Training Skills, so I Strengthened My [Fief] Which I Got as a Replacement for My Ret…

When people think that failure is a sin and the world gonna end after that, how foolish...

Why is his self-esteem so low? I can understand other people laughing at him, maybe they don't know about his skills that booster experience and that he was the one who made this party possible. But why does he allow them to mock him(it clearly irks him), he can say a ton of things in his defence( while he himself said he has none). To start with, without him that party wouldn't be where it is now. He handpicked party members(apart from Cross) and made them lvl up at insane speed, their achievements are partly his achievements, as he was the one who made it possible now and then. So, no reasons for him to think about himself so poorly, he carried his party at first. By the way, if he was granting them x2 exp, does it mean they no longer need it or do they consider it less useful than having no weak party members? Also, why didn't Eiga tried to think about his own destined occupation? He can't see it, but he could have tried to deduct it from his skills. Because, if he can't see his skill routes how could he be sure about his prospects.

@Maskss Possible, I might have forgotten if they explicitly stated that the mc wanted to see the lands, it just seemed odd to me because in this chapter he mentions several times that he wants to get there ASAP, which made it seem like he didn't choose this road.

@maxtitus yes, but I also mentioned, if the capital weren't a harbor then it'd be well connected to the nearest harbor anyway since there will be a large movement of goods and people between the harbor and the capital.

Wait wait . So hr got huge amount of land from friend as a recompensation and now he formed party and went to imperial capital ?
WUT ?

@kamishiniyari i can't see many reasons for him to develop this syndrome. It was shown in the first chapter's retrospective that he knew about hero's growth being largely his own merit. So, when did he start thinking in a different way?
@KazarianFhas There is till a question of mc's reasons for first going to his lands and then returning and going to the capital. His route as of now may look like this: port town -> his territory -> port town -> capital ->...-> his territory. Why wasn't it: port town -> capital -> his territory, is still a mystery.
