I Will Die Soon - Ch. 36

1. Murdered by a yandere
2. Murdered by some guy whose girlfriend he stole (e.g. the guy with the glasses)

It's interesting that while he's reaching the wrong conclusions, he's at least thinking about stuff he never thought about before.

My guess is that this life isn't going to last long. And he's going to be murdered by some cuckold or wannabe lover.

Plot twist: he doesn't get murdered by a jilted lover, or some guy who's chick he stole. He just becomes so bored of being a rich pretty-boy with no real talents or real friends, or any family, so he just OD's on hard drugs, but stashes some of his dough before doing so, so he can repeat the cycle of rampant hedonism a few times before he dies for real.

He should put that money somewhere that he'll be able to get it back from.

Well, looks like this one won't last long:
1. Killed by jealouse dude.
2. Killed by rejected girl.
3. Some other random murder bumps into him.
With this body that was never intrested in anything serious he coudn't create "serious" enemies, looks like his past will come back to bite his ass. Funny how it was almost like death was pissed at line about their relationships, ha-ha.

Also thanks for translation!

I hope he dies a random death that doesn't make much sense. Would be nice to break him off the cycle of poetic deaths that appear to line up as a symptom of the life he's taken over. But he will presumably think only of not dying 'the fated way' and the cycle will continue.

He's getting much better material to work with though, so that's nice. Really lends itself to the original idea that he's being taught something here, though that makes me wonder if this is predetermined at all.

@Lithe how much sense did a dude that stalked him since the release from prison was? Or a guy who choose him cause of random inteview he saw? Don't get much more random than those if you're not intrested in involving "Truck-kun" character.

@Big_Boss The revenge seems to make a lot of sense, it wasn't a random killing after all as anger, hate, grudges are very powerful. The serial killer was a bit different, but his host body was pretty notorious already, so anyone doing it isn't much of a surprise - some would call it 'karma'. And the gamer one is also pretty basic 'cause of the unhealthy lifestyle combined with streaming entertainment. At least I've seen enough of the "put in too much work into the YT channel, need a break, sorry fans" for me to think so.

All the deaths seem pretty ordinary to me; I would have no problem concluding "well he was probably going to die similarly anyway" and in our MC's case, the additional "I didn't escape the fated way of death" would also be an idea.

All in all, I just want him to realize that the instant he steps into this simulation body of sorts their fate is already altered. The lesson is that when he lives, he has to be careful to avoid every plausible risk (or just accept death lol). But since he seems to be through the phase of "inevitable deaths' e.g. the magician (kind of) and the plane crash victim (definitely), it would probably drive this guy back towards "Death is totally fucking me right now (but not in a good way)".

Yeah. A life without substance or instrospection isn't worth living. While being obsessed with money sounds dumb to me, its his substance. Nothing wrong with that.
