I Will Go and Disappear Obediently - Vol. 1 Ch. 4 - Servant's Oath

... Wait, hold on a sec. Why is she going to be judged unworthy of being the Duke of War, again? I mean, how many kings throughout history would've given their left nut for a general who could get visions for the campaign before it occurs? I bet the answer is "most of them". That's waaaay more useful than a walking artillery piece, especially if the walking artillery piece is included in the deal.

@ClueByFour I seem to recall it was a bit of a bs reason, ( spoilers for ln)
if I'm remembering right she has her uber mega special healing powers blessed by god but her brother has like all offensive powers and I guess her parents thought it'd be better to throw her under the bus (bc they don't want her hurting herself and then healing I guess?) while her grandparents want to keep her as the heir.

If I squint really hard I can see the parents logic, just a little. I'm guessing the conventions in noble magic is that offensive = best and they didn't see the fact she was obviously born to be the ultimate tank while her brother is the ultimate offence. AND IF YOU WERE SMART YOU'D HAVE BOTH WORK TOGETHER FOR THE GOOD OF THE GODDAMN COUNTRY.

It honestly just makes me furious thinking about it.
^correct me if I'm wrong tho, just remembering from spoilers others have posted.

Luca is so cute. Ugh I hope there's no love triangle, but if so my vote is on Luca. Love dark hair characters

i feel like he's the first male lead... my second lead syndrome is tingling i can feel it!

Her parents practically forced a child to be a soldier/assassin, but I'm supposed to like them? What?...dropped.

What a sad little boy. I hope he will have a happier life from now on. 😢

Thanks for the update!

@Siquall It doesn't matter. As adults, they shouldn't have used him that way even if he already had blood on his hands. But it could be that I'm expecting too much from a medieval fantasy setting story.
